Panagiotis Papanikolaou design studio is an award - winning practice, founded in Athens in 2020. The studio provides tailored design solutions for a variety of small and medium scale residential and commercial projects, with a strong interest on bespoke interior design. The studio’s approach focuses on creating unique spaces, in harmony with their context, while always respecting the existing architectural and historic conditions.
Panagiotis studied Architecture (BA & MArch) at the University of East London, where he was awarded the RIBA East London Architects Group Prize for his final year design project in 2017. While in the UK, he collaborated with Allies & Morrison, actively participating in the architectural design of large regeneration and masterplanning projects in North and East London.
Since 2019, Panagiotis is based in Athens, having led several design projects and having taught Architectural Design in a RIBA accredited private institution in Athens. Over the years, the studio's work has been widely published in several architectural and interior design magazines and websites. In 2023 the 'Wooden Box Apartment' won the BIG SEE Interior Design Award 2023 while in 2021, the project 'Apartment in Neapoli' won the BIG SEE Interior Design Award 2021.
