Panagiotis Papanikolaou design studio is an award - winning studio, that was founded in Athens in 2020 and is leading projects with a strong focus on contextual design, human scale and attention to detail. The studio covers a wide range of work from residential to commercial projects, always with the utmost respect to the existing architectural, natural, cultural and historic conditions.
Panagiotis Papanikolaou studied Architecture (BA & M Arch) at the University of East London where he was awarded the RIBA East London Architects Society Prize for his final year design project. While in the UK, he collaborated with Allies & Morrison, participating actively in the architectural design of large regeneration and masterplanning projects in North and East London.
Since 2019, Panagiotis Papanikolaou is based in Athens, leading small scale design projects and teaching Architectural Design in a RIBA accredited private institution in Athens. The studio's work has been published in several architectural and interior design magazines and websites while in 2021, the project 'Apartment in Neapoli' won the BIG SEE Interior Design Award 2021.
Since 2013 Panagiotis has participated in sevaral group painting exhibitions, while in 2014 he organised his first solo exhibition in Athens, exploring the 'Greek landscape' thematic. For more info about Panagiotis' work in the field of art and painting, please visit:
